This cozy spot is literally steps from St Peter's Square! The courtyard is a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle, and the minibar was free! Plus, we scored complimentary tickets to the Pope's address, which was a fantastic surprise.

Had a wonderful 3-night stay, the minibar was free (non-alcoholic), while breakfast options were plentiful. The compact bathroom was manageable—would stay here again!

I loved the immaculate rooms and the tranquil courtyard that provided a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and even provided us with Papal Audience tickets upon check-in. Plus, the breakfast with fresh pastries and a variety of options was a delightful start to our mornings. However, I found the food service options outside of breakfast quite limited.

palazzo cardinal cesi is a gem! the location is amazing, just steps from st peter's basilica. the property was clean, and despite its age, it had charm. my check-in was hassle-free, and Claudia at the front desk was incredibly helpful. it's hard to beat the convenience of nearby italian restaurants too.

The location of Palazzo Cardinal Cesi is unbeatable, just steps away from St Peter’s Basilica. The property has a lovely courtyard that feels peaceful after a long day of sightseeing. The cleanliness stood out. my room was spotless throughout my stay. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the daily service—fresh towels and tidy spaces were a nice touch. Breakfast offered a solid mix of options, including fresh pastries and cooked items that were satisfying. On the downside, the room was small, typical for European hotels, and the bathroom was even smaller—more like a cruise ship size. The noise level from outside could be disruptive at times, especially early in the morning, which was challenging after long travel days. It would have been great if there were coffee-making facilities in the room for that morning pick-me-up. Despite a lovely stay overall, these small additions could enhance the experience a lot.
